Highlights:
- The Indian Economic Service and the Indian Statistical Service include a Written Exam and a Viva voce.
- The Written exam will have 6 papers each for the Indian Economic Service and the Indian Statistical Service.
- The Written exam will be of 1000 marks and viva voce will be of 200 marks.

The scheme of the examination of UPSC IES ISS 2025 involves two rounds:
- Written Exam – 1000 marks
- Viva-voce or Interview – 200 marks
In the written exam, the questions will be asked from 6 subjects. The time duration will be 3 hours each for the 6 subjects.
